F-Zero Arranged Album: Ending Theme
Nothing like a jazzy F-Zero song to start the morning right.
It’s been a while Rayman. No, we’re not counting Raving Rabbids, while I enjoyed the first game heavily, I never really bothered with the other mini-game collections. The Rayman series has always been all about good platforming.
Tight controls, extremely challenging levels, and quirky humor ruled the day with these games. Rayman 3 kinda got off an a whole “edgy” sort of vibe, but I’d say that’s because Michel Ancel wasn’t working on that game (he was developing Beyond Good and Evil, another fine game). Rayman Origins, diverts back to where Rayman started, in 2D. But he’s brought his cohorts along with him.
Tenpole Tudor - Swords of a Thousand Men
Went to the Drive In Last nite and caught a double feature of The AVENGERS and The Pirates! Band of Misfits. This was the opening track for the pirate movie. While it wasn’t exactly Aardman’s finest, it certainly was enjoyable. It’s supposed to be coming out soon on video, I highly recommend you watch it.
Rayman Origins - Ocean World Music
This will be stuck in your head for days. If you haven’t played this fantastic game, I urge you to buy it on your respective system, it doesn’t really matter which one. I’ll be doing a review of this game VERY soon.
Wave Race 64 - The Complete Soundtrack (Japanese Rumble Pak Edition)
I’ll be doing a review of this game soon. I just wanted to share one of the few soundtracks from the N64 that I honestly love. It doesn’t matter what mood I’m in, but every time I hear that main theme, as well as Sunset Bay’s track, it always puts a smile on my face.
I can only hope that they make a new Wave Race or at least bring the Gamecube version to the Wii U to download.
Sonic The Hedgehog (2006) - Solaris Phase 2
Not a big fan of this game (why were the loading times so ridiculously long for every little thing?!), but regardless, I enjoyed the music from the game.
Even with Sega having some hard financial times, I hope to see Sonic games improve, as they seem to be so far.
Cory Johnson’s full Legend of Zelda album is now complete. I mentioned him a few weeks ago and his demo album. It’s quite a good listen. And you can name your price for the album, if your so inclined. It’s a combination of Zelda tunes with a sound similar to Explosions In The Sky, go ahead and give it a listen!
